Hello current, former or potential students, and anyone else who has ventured to this page!
1992: Awarded Bachelors Degree in English Literature in 1992. I started out at Houghton College, then transferred and graduated my degree at Empire State College.
2006: I will complete my Masters Degree in English in July from Canisius.
Married, to my adorable husband Fred, who is a computer geek and programmed this site for me.
Two children - Joel, age 11, a budding guitar player, and Nina, age 8, who is the commander of the pigeons (more on that later), both students at CCA.
One dog--excuse me--Bichon Frise, Daisy (she doesn't consider herself a dog)
One bearded dragon, Smaug
Four anoles, Marvin, Kermit, Zoe, and Marshmellow
One beta, Bubbles
We have attended Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church since 1990.
Teaching is my second career. In my first career, I worked five years for a department of defense subcontractor as a technical writer and web programmer, then spent a few years as Vice President of a dot.com business (that was great!), and finally worked a couple of years as a IT product manager before switching careers to teaching. My varied technical and business background has been a great resource for me as a teacher.
